I don't have all the details, but Peter is just out from the doc and apparently able to eat soft foods and drink, and the feeding tube comes out in a week if he's eating well. Good news!
Thanks, Amanda...that is such good news! I think this will make life for your dad so much better. I know he will have to start off slow, but I pray that he can gradually increase the amount he eats and get rid of that one last tube (I keep thinking he will name it The Little Bastard Number two!) I also know that he is so ready to use his voice...bless all of your hearts as the strength of your family bond has seen each of you through this. We will keep up the prayers for more good news.
